Description
A group of three vintage American pulp science fiction magazines titled ‘Thrilling Wonder Stories,’ comprising one issue from June 1950 and two issues from August 1950. Each magazine is priced at 25 cents and features a distinct, vividly illustrated classic pulp sci-fi cover depicting scenes with futuristic elements such as rockets, fantastical creatures, and human figures, characteristic of the mid-20th century genre. Visible story titles include ‘Son of the Tree by Jack Vance,’ ‘Whistle Stop in Space,’ and ‘New Bodies for Old by Jack Vance.’ The magazines are constructed from paper. Accompanying the magazines is a small square yellow paper note with the handwritten number ’20’ on it.
Condition report:
The magazines exhibit significant wear consistent with age and heavy handling. This includes creasing, tears, edge damage, and discoloration to the covers and pages. Some spine roll and chipping may be present. Overall fair to good vintage condition.
