Description

A pair of Street & Smith’s Unknown pulp magazines, published by Street & Smith. The November 1939 issue features “OF THE BEAR-GOD” by Norvell W. Page, with a cover depicting a muscular man with a sword facing a roaring bear-like creature. The December 1939 issue features “ST DARKNESS FALL” by L. Sprague de Camp, with a cover showing a man in a suit grappling with a green, monstrous entity. Both vintage fantasy magazines display an original price of 20¢. The reverse of the November issue features a full-page advertisement for Chesterfield Cigarettes, while the December issue advertises Lucky Strike Cigarettes. Both items are constructed of printed paper.
