Description
This lot features three vintage pulp magazines: “UNKNOWN Fantasy Fiction” from August 1939, “UNKNOWN Fantasy Fiction” from September 1940, and “UNKNOWN Worlds Fantasy Fiction” from October 1941. Each magazine was originally priced at twenty or twenty-five cents. They feature distinct illustrated covers in a mid-20th-century fantasy style, listing contributing authors and story titles. The magazines are constructed from paper and cardstock. The reverse covers display period advertisements, including promotions for “Chesterfield” cigarettes and “Calvert” whiskey, alongside a “Buy War Bonds” message. A small white card marked “31” is included with the lot.
