Description
A group of three vintage Silver Age comic books, featuring Reptisaurus #1 (1962) by Charlton Comics. The comics are printed on paper and visually consistent with the Silver Age period, indicated by the 10¢-12¢ pricing and artwork style. Each comic is protected within a clear plastic sleeve.
The bottom-left comic is titled "REPTISAURUS the terrible, " a "SPECIAL EDITION NO 1," depicting a large red winged creature and figures near ancient structures, marked 12¢. Web intelligence identifies this as Reptisaurus #1 by Charlton Comics, circa 1962-1963.
The top-left comic is titled "Six-Gun Heroes, " features a Western theme with characters "Gunmaster" and "Bullet, " and is marked "November" at 12¢.
The top-right comic is a science fiction piece titled "SPACE ADVENTURES" and "AMERICANS IN SPACE, " depicting an astronaut and rockets, marked "December" and "STILL 10¢, " with a "Cape Canaveral" label.
All three comics bear the "APPROVED BY THE COMICS CODE AUTHORITY" stamp. A small yellow sticky note marked "65" is included with the lot.
Condition report:
The comics exhibit visible signs of age including minor creasing and edge wear, but appear generally intact within their protective covers. Good overall condition consistent with age and use.
