A collection of approximately 12 Golden Age Western comic books, predominantly published by Fawcett Publications. Titles include “Gabby Hayes Western, ” “Rocky Lane Western, ” “Real Western Hero, ” and “Western Hero, ” along with a single “Bob Steele” issue. Dating from the mid-20th century, likely the late 1940s to early 1950s, the paper-material items display classic pulp-style artwork depicting cowboys, action, and adventure. Visible English markings include issue numbers (e.g., “Vol. 1 No. 3,” “10¢”), publisher names, character names, and story titles such as “The Mystery of the Lost Homestead.” The reverse sides feature various period advertisements, including for Walt Disney masks, Daisy Air Rifles, Butterfinger candy, and “Shoot Real .22 Caliber Cowboy Carbine” toys, along with images of real-life Western figures like Bob Steele and Wild Bill Hickok. A small white notecard with the number “103” is also present.
