Description
This collection comprises eight vintage American romance comic books/magazines, predominantly dating from the Golden to Silver Age (circa 1950s-early 1960s). Titles include ‘Miss America’ (featuring Patsy Walker), ‘Young Lovers,’ ‘My Love Story,’ ‘Linda Carter Student Nurse,’ ‘Romantic Confessions,’ ‘Love and Marriage,’ ‘Patsy Walker,’ and ‘Love Romances.’ The presence of ‘Love and Marriage’ comics, frequently associated with Superior Publishers in market research, confirms the era and genre. These comics typically feature 10-12 cent pricing and a distinctive illustrative style, depicting dramatic, idealized narratives of love, heartache, and social issues common to the genre.
