Description
A collection of approximately ten vintage American comic books, primarily from the Golden Age period, characterized by sequential art and text printed on aged paper with colored ink. One prominent cover features “CRIME DOES NOT PAY” with “BONNIE PARKER” identified as “FEMALE PUBLIC ENEMY #1,” described as a “TRUE CRIME STORY.” Other visible titles or internal references include “DIG…”, “HOND…”, “FRANK BRADLEY”, and “TRENTON.” Publication details on one page indicate “Vol. 8 No. 11, April, 1948,” and another references “February 1, 1949.” An internal panel bears a discernible signature or date marking “GEORGE 1944.” A yellow sticky note with the handwritten number “108” is present.
