Description
A collection of eight vintage American comic books published by DC National Comics during the Silver Age period. The collection includes four issues of ‘Strange Adventures,’ three issues of ‘Tales of the Unexpected,’ and one issue of ‘Rip Hunter… Time Master.’ Each comic bears the ‘Approved by the Comics Code Authority’ seal and features cover prices of 12¢, 15¢, and 25¢. The artwork is characteristic of mid-20th-century science fiction, fantasy, and mystery genres, depicting dynamic scenes with aliens, monsters, and human adventurers. Visible issue numbers include No. 232, No. 217, No. 194, No. 189 for ‘Strange Adventures’; No. 127, No. 115, No. 103 for ‘Tales of the Unexpected’; and No. 3 for ‘Rip Hunter… Time Master.’ Taglines such as ‘Startling Stories of Super Science-Fiction!’, ‘He became a Human Trinket on his Bracelet of Deadly Charms!’, and ‘The Throne of Doom!’ are present. Constructed from printed paper. A separate small slip of paper with the handwritten number ‘124’ is also present.
Condition report:
Good to Very Good condition. Expected minor wear to edges and corners. Colors remain vibrant. No significant tears or major creasing observed.
