Description
A group of vintage DC Comics, primarily from the Silver and Bronze Age (late 1960s to early 1970s). The lot includes “Metal Men” #8 (15c) featuring the story “Requiem for a Robot!”, “The Brave and the Bold presents Flash and Doom Patrol” #80 (12c) subtitled “The Fastest Man Alive!”, “The Brave and the Bold” #79 (12c) presenting Batman and Aquaman with “The Sleep Walker From the Sea!”, “The Brave and the Bold” #81 (12c) presenting Batman and Flash with “But Bork Can Hurt You!”, and “The Brave and the Bold” #89 (12c) presenting Batman and Creeper with “And Hellgrammite is His Name!”. The lot also includes a stack of several additional 12c DC comic books with partially obscured titles. All issues display the DC Comics logo, prominent “12c” or “15c” price tags, and characteristic colorful artwork of the era.
Condition report:
General wear, creasing, and minor edge damage consistent with age and handling. Covers remain largely intact with visible, vibrant colors. Some issues show more pronounced creasing and corner dings. No major tears or missing pages are apparent from visual inspection of the covers.
