Description
A group of four vintage newspaper comic sections featuring “The Spirit” by Will Eisner. Three sections are from “The Chicago Sun,” dated Sunday, February 2, 1947, Sunday, February 26, 1947, and Sunday, December 27, 1947. The remaining section is from “The Star Ledger,” dated Sunday, May 11, 1947. Each item is printed on newsprint paper and appears as a folded multi-page section with visible internal page numbering (e.g., Pages 13-16 on the reverse sides). All visible text is in English.
Condition report:
Each section exhibits significant age-related wear consistent with newsprint from the period. This includes extensive toning, yellowing, creasing, and edge wear. Minor tears are visible throughout, indicative of handling over time.
