Description
A collection of five vintage comic books and graphic magazines, all printed on paper and featuring English text. The lot includes two issues attributed to Myron Fass: ‘Tales of the Killers’ and ‘Murder Tales’, both dated December 1976. The ‘Tales of the Killers’ issue highlights historical figures such as Mad Dog, Vincent Coll, and The Legs Diamond Story. The ‘Murder Tales’ issue features John Dillinger, Dutch Schultz, and other true crime stories. Also present are ‘HEROES INC. PRESENTS CANNON No. 2’ from Mistic Press, ‘GRAPHIC SHOWCASE NO. 1’ depicting a red-suited hero, and ‘GOLDEN AGE #3’ with a barbarian-like figure. Interior pages display black-and-white comic strip art, with one jungle illustration signed ‘SBEAUS’. An additional loose cover titled ‘The Great Comic IN THE SKY’ is also present. The collection covers genres including superhero, crime, and adventure.
Condition report:
Good to very good condition. Minor wear, creasing, and edge wear consistent with age and handling. Pages are generally clean with some toning.
