Description
A professionally graded Silver Age DC Comics comic book, “Atom and Hawkman #39,” published by D.C. Comics in October-November 1968. The comic is encased in a transparent CGC Universal Grade plastic slab, bearing a grade of 7.5 with “OFF-WHITE TO WHITE Pages.” Credits on the label include Robert Kanigher for the story, Murphy Anderson and Joe Giella for the interior art, and Joe Kubert for the cover art. The CGC barcode is 4568297001. The vibrant cover, attributed to Joe Kubert, features the main title “THE ATOM AND HAWKMAN” in bold yellow lettering against a purple background, with a subtitle “THE TITAN and the FURY.” The artwork depicts Hawkman, with wings and a mace, engaged in combat with a roaring tiger/lion, upon which a smaller character, Atom, is positioned.
