Description
An encapsulated copy of Marvel Comics’ *Iron Man (1968)* series, issue #67, published in April 1974. This Bronze Age comic has been professionally graded by CGC at 7.0 with Off-White pages, bearing certification number 4559911003. The vibrant cover art, attributed to Gil Kane and Mike Esposito, depicts Iron Man in battle with the purple-skinned antagonist ‘The Freak,’ set against a backdrop of a damaged vehicle and distressed onlookers. Visible cover text includes “20¢,” “APR 02454,” and the tagline “GOLDEN ARMOR! RAW COURAGE! SMASHING FISTS! CAN ANYTHING STAND AGAINST– THE FURY OF THE FREAK!”. The comic also features the “Approved by the Comics Code Authority” seal. The story is by Mike Friedrich, with interior art by George Tuska and Mike Esposito. Noteworthy for the appearance of Don Blake and The Freak, and identified on the CGC label as the “Last 20¢ issue.” The comic is securely preserved within its rigid, clear plastic protective case.
