Description
CGC Mislabled the case on this slab. A mid-20th century American comic book, DC Comics Showcase presents Rip Hunter Time Master No. 26, published June 1960. The comic features a 10-cent price and a cover depicting green-skinned aliens with futuristic weapons interacting with figures in what appears to be ancient Egypt, accompanied by the text “The ALIENS from 2,000 B.C.!” and a speech bubble reading “GREAT SCOTT! CREATURES FROM SPACE HERE ON EARTH IN ANCIENT EGYPT!”. This comic is encapsulated in a rigid, clear plastic CGC Universal Grade slab. The grading label on the slab, however, incorrectly identifies the contents as “Captain America #109, Marvel Comics, 1/69,” attributing the story to Stan Lee and the cover/art to Jack Kirby and Syd Shores, with notes on “Origin of Captain America retold” and a “Nick Fury appearance.” The label assigns a grade of 7.5 with “WHITE Pages” and includes barcode 4577268020 and a holographic authenticity sticker.

The comic itself appears well-preserved within the slab, consistent with the indicated grade of 7.5. The CGC slab is intact with no visible damage. The CGC grading label contains a significant factual error regarding the comic\'s title and issue number.
