Description
A vintage Silver Surfer #3 comic book, published by Marvel Comics in December 1968. This issue is professionally graded and encapsulated in a clear plastic CGC Universal Grade slab, receiving a grade of 4.5 with OFF-WHITE TO WHITE pages. The dynamic Silver Age cover artwork prominently features “SKY-RIDER OF THE SPACEWAYS! THE SILVER SURFER” and “THE POWER AND THE PRIZE!”, alongside the “MARVEL COMICS GROUP” logo, a 25¢ price, and the “APPROVED BY THE COMICS CODE AUTHORITY” seal. The CGC label attributes the story to Stan Lee, the cover art to John Buscema, and interior art to John Buscema, Joe Sinnott, Gene Colan, and Paul Reinman. Notably, this issue marks the 1st appearance of Mephisto and includes a Tales of the Watcher backup story. A CGC holographic sticker and serial number 4243438007 are visible on the slab.
