Description
Batman #232, published by DC Comics in June 1971, encapsulated within a CGC Universal Grade plastic slab. The comic is graded 4.0 with off-white to white pages. This issue is notable for the 1st appearance of Ra’s al Ghul, a retold origin of Batman and Robin, and a Talia cameo. The cover, attributed to Neal Adams, features Batman and Robin in an action pose against a green backdrop with a large, ghostly villainous figure. Prominent text bubbles read “WHEN I DECIDE ROBIN MUST DIE–” and “–HE DIES!” Other visible text includes “BATMAN WITH ROBIN THE TEEN WONDER,” “15¢,” “A TALE TO HAUNT YOU FOREVER–,” and “DAUGHTER of the DEMON!” A handwritten numerical marking “27.54” is visible on the comic cover’s upper left.
