Description
A ‘Sergeant Preston of the Yukon’ comic book, issue #21, published by Dell Comics. Dated November-January, 1956 (Dell 11/56), originally sold for 10¢. This comic is professionally graded by PGX at VF+ 8.5 with ‘TAN to WHITE Pages’, and was graded in June 2006. It is encapsulated in a clear PGX plastic slab. The cover art depicts a man in a red Royal Canadian Mounted Police-style uniform and wide-brimmed hat, with a mustache and serious expression, kneeling beside a large, grey wolf-like dog. The visible story title is ‘The Case of “THE WHISPERING RAVEN”‘. The comic series is based on the popular radio and television show ‘Sergeant Preston of the Yukon’ (1955–1958).
Condition report:
The comic book and its protective casing appear to be in excellent, well-preserved condition consistent with the assigned grade of VF+ 8.5. No visible damage or wear beyond what is typical for the assigned grade.
