Description
A professionally graded and slabbed Charlton comic book, “Blue Beetle #2,” published August 1967. The comic is encapsulated by CBCS with a certified grade of 6.5 White, bearing serial number 20-2B0A354-005. This issue features the origin of Blue Beetle (Ted Kord), the second appearance of the Question, and the ‘death’ of Blue Beetle (Dan Garrett). The cover, with art and story by Steve Ditko, depicts the titular character in action against a large, orange foe. Prominent cover text advertises “REVEALED AT LAST! THE SECRETS AND MYSTERY THAT SURROUNDS the origin of the new BLUE BEETLE the fate of the old BLUE BEETLE,” and includes a “Plus THE QUESTION” banner.
