Description
A vintage “Zap Comix #0” comic book, published by Apex Novelties in October 1967, identified as a Second Printing. This item is professionally encapsulated in a clear plastic CGC Universal Grade slab, indicating a certified grade of 9.0 with Off-White to White Pages, and bears the serial number 4570263004. The cover, rendered in an underground comic art style by Robert Crumb, features the prominent yellow title “ZAP COMIX NO.0” above an illustration of a frantic-looking, nude, plug-tailed figure enveloped in a yellow electric aura, seemingly “plugged in” to a wall socket on a wooden floor. A speech bubble proclaims “THE COMIC THAT PLUGS YOU IN!!”.
