Description
An Atlas Comics *Uncanny Tales* #33 comic book, published in July 1955, professionally graded and encapsulated by CGC with a Universal Grade of 6.0. The colorful horror/sci-fi cover features art credited to Joe Maneely, depicting a man with a frantic expression in the foreground pointing towards a city skyline under apparent attack by falling debris and energy beams, while a crowd of onlookers reacts. Prominent text on the cover includes “ALL BRAND-NEW TALES!”, the “Approved by the Comics Code Authority” seal, and a “10¢” price. Story blurbs include “WHEN IT ALL HAPPENED, WHY WAS DOCTOR LIONEL ABBOT THE ONLY MAN WHO SAW ‘THE WARNING?'” and “ALSO: ‘THE SILENT MAN!'”.
