Description
A mid-20th century comic book, “Patsy Walker starring in… Miss America” No. 68, published by Atlas Comics in February 1955 for 10¢. The comic is professionally encapsulated in a CGC Universal Grade plastic slab, rated 4.5 with “CREAM TO OFF-WHITE Pages.” The cover, attributed to Morris Weiss, depicts a lively crowd at a sporting event with a young couple holding hands. Speech bubbles read: “POOR PATSY! BUZZ HASN’T EVEN GOT A PAIR OF BINOCULARS TO LEND HER!” and “SHE SEES WHAT SHE WANTS WITHOUT ‘EM!”. A scoreboard shows “Centerville 6, Leonia 6, Downs 2, Yards 7.” The cover also prominently features the Atlas logo and the Comics Code Authority seal.
