Description
A professionally graded and encapsulated copy of Captain Marvel Jr. #59, published by Fawcett Publications in March 1948. The comic is presented in a clear plastic CGC Universal Grade slab, indicating a grade of 4.5 with ‘OFF-WHITE TO WHITE Pages’. The cover, attributed to Mac Raboy, depicts Captain Marvel Jr. in a blue costume with a yellow lightning bolt and red cape, in action, kicking a man dressed in green, set against a dynamic background of purple and orange burst effects. The cover also displays ‘NO. 59 MARCH 10¢’ and the tagline ‘CRIME SMASHING ACTION WITH THE WORLD’S MIGHTIEST BOY’. Story by Otto Binder, with art by Kurt Schaffenberger and Bud Thompson.
