Description
A vintage horror/fantasy comic book, “Eerie #6,” published by Avon Periodicals in April-May 1952. The comic is encapsulated in a clear plastic CBCS grading slab. The cover art, attributed to Carmine Infantino, Michael Becker & Vince Alasia, features a menacing, hairy creature holding a tombstone over a startled woman. The cover also displays text proclaiming “TALES OF FANTASY AND SUSPENSE!” and story titles including “MONSTER of the SEA!” and “The STRANGE INDIAN CURSE!”. The comic was originally priced at 10 cents.
Condition report:
Graded 1.5 with \"Cream/Off-White\" pages by CBCS. The slab notes indicate the cover is \"completely split & reattached with 3 staples added.\" This is visually consistent with significant creasing and edge wear apparent on the comic\'s paper surface.
