Description
A pair of vintage Marvel Comics Group Daredevil comic books, printed on paper in a mid-20th century superhero style. Issue No. 39 (April) is titled “HERE COMES… DAREDEVIL” with the storyline “THE UNHOLY THREE!” depicting Daredevil battling three large blue figures. The rear cover features an advertisement for “American Seed Co.” titled “MAKE MONEY GET PRIZES WITH Fast Selling American Seeds.” Issue No. 43 (August) is titled “THE MAN WITHOUT FEAR! DAREDEVIL” and depicts Daredevil fighting Captain America, with a tagline reading “GUEST STARRING YOU-KNOW-WHO IN THE BATTLE OF THE YEAR!” The cover for issue #43 is attributed to Jack Kirby in web intelligence. The rear cover advertises “Wallace Brown, Inc.” Christmas cards for earning “EXTRA MONEY.” Both comics are priced at 12 cents.
