Description
A pair of vintage American comic books, titled ‘The Mighty Thor’ from the Marvel Comics Group. Issue #157, dated OCT, features Thor battling a giant hand amidst fire on the cover, with the text ‘BEHIND HIM… RAGNAROK!’. The reverse advertises the ‘Famous Artists School’ featuring Norman Rockwell. Issue #163, dated APR, depicts Thor, a large man in orange, and green figures, with the text ‘WHERE DWELL THE DEMONS!’. The back cover features an advertisement for ‘American Seeds’ offering various prizes. Both issues prominently display a 12¢ price and an ‘APPROVED BY THE COMICS CODE AUTHORITY’ stamp. They are printed on paper with full-color ink covers.
Condition report:
Good overall condition, consistent with age and handling. Both comics exhibit soft corners and minor creasing to covers and pages. No major tears, rips, or missing pages observed.
