Description
A copy of Harvey Thriller: Spyman Top Secret Adventures, Issue No. 3, published February 1966. This American comic book, characteristic of the Silver Age period, features a 12-cent price and the “APPROVED BY THE COMICS CODE AUTHORITY” seal. The colorful front cover, rendered in a classic comic art style, depicts the character Spyman in a red suit engaged in battle with a large purple “Electro-Robot.” The cover includes speech bubbles stating, “KNIFE BEHIND ME, SPYMAN! THE POWERFUL LURKING ELECTRO-ROBOT GAINS THE UPP HAND! HE… HE IS A MACHINE!” and a caption asking, “CAN THE AGENTS OF LIBERTY RESIST THE MACHINE THAT CONTROLS MEN’S MINDS?”. A detailed diagram labeling parts of “SPYMAN’S ELECTRO-ROBOT HAND” is also visible. The back cover features a full-page advertisement for Daisy B·B Guns and Pellet Rifles. Constructed from printed paper.
Condition report:
Good to Very Good condition. Exhibits visible wear consistent with age and handling, including creasing along the spine, minor corner blunting, and some surface abrasions. Colors remain generally vibrant and the content is legible.
