Description
This lot comprises five vintage American comic books from DC Comics’ Silver Age, uniformly priced at 12¢, indicative of the mid-to-late 1960s. The collection features four issues of ‘The Brave and the Bold’: #72 starring The Spectre and The Flash, #73 featuring Aquaman and The Atom (with visible text ‘HAIL GRAG THE DESTROYER’), #76 with Batman and Green Lantern, and #79 showcasing Batman and Hawkman. A single issue of ‘Hawkman,’ #22, is also included. The reverse sides of the comics display period advertisements for various products including the Mattel M-16 Marauder, Aurora hobby kits, monster models, Christmas cards, and a contest for a 1967 Ford Mustang.
Condition report:
The comic books appear to be in generally good, unslabbed condition, exhibiting vibrant colors and typical age-related wear such as minor creasing and edge abrasions.
