Race for the Moon #3, published by Harvey in November 1958, featuring cover art by Jack Kirby and interior art by Jack Kirby and Al Williamson. This mid-20th century American comic book is marked ’10¢’ and bears the ‘BY THE COMICS CODE AUTHORITY’ seal. The front cover depicts a vibrant illustration of a red-suited astronaut planting an American flag on a celestial body, with the text “THIS LUNAR TERRITORY CLAIMED BY THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, alongside rockets, smaller figures, and a view of Earth. The reverse side features a full-page advertisement for “THE MOST AMAZING MUSCLE BUILDING COURSE EVER OFFERED!” by Joe Weider, including a coupon addressed to Montreal, Canada.
