Description
A collection of four English-language American comic books, all titled “Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen” from DC National Comics, comprising issues #100, #106, #133, and #134. These superhero genre comics feature iconic characters Superman and Jimmy Olsen engaged in various adventures. Issue #100 (12c) is the “Special 100th Anniversary Issue!” featuring “THE WEIRDO WEDDING OF JIMMY OLSEN!”. Issue #106 (12c) includes a storyline referencing “Superman vs The Beatles”. Issue #133 (15c) features “THE NEWSBOY LEGION” and “THE SLEEPY SUICIDE SLUM!”. Issue #134 (20c) is part of “KIRBY’S FOURTH WORLD OF”. Constructed from typical comic book paper, the reverse sides feature period advertisements for products such as “Hot Birds” model airplanes and “AMERICAN SEED CO.” prizes. A handwritten number “434” is visible on the bottom of the frame.
Condition report:
The comics exhibit signs of age and use consistent with their vintage. Condition issues include creasing, spine roll, edge wear, minor tears, and discoloration to covers and pages. All issues remain largely intact.
