Description
A group of seven vintage American comic books from DC Comics’ ‘The Brave and the Bold’ series, dating to the mid-to-late Silver Age/early Bronze Age period (circa mid-to-late 1960s). Each comic features a colorful illustrated cover depicting character action, with visible English text including titles, character names, publisher logos, issue numbers, and story headlines such as “The Grasp of Shan-Zi!” and “Phantom Flash’s Cosmic Coffin!”. The collection includes issues featuring characters such as Batman, Aquaman, The Flash, The Spectre, Plastic Man, Hawkman, and Green Arrow. All issues display a 12-cent price point. The back covers display an array of vintage advertisements for products including Aurora Model Motoring, Ski-Tile-Bowl, Mattel’s M-16 Marauder, and various Aurora hobby kits, including one for a “1967 Ford Mustang”.
Condition report:
Generally good to very good for their age, exhibiting typical signs of handling, minor creasing, and spine wear. Colors remain vibrant.
