Description
This lot comprises approximately fifteen vintage American comic books, primarily dating from the Golden Age period. Visible dates include “APRIL, 1948” and “MAR. 1948” on several issues of “MASTER COMICS,” which feature contributions by Will Lieberson and V. A. Provisiero. The collection includes a variety of titles and characters, such as “MASTER COMICS,” “MOBY DICK,” “UNCLE SCROOGE,” “MARSHAL DAWSON’S RETURN,” “THE MAGIC DISH,” “BIG MOMENT,” and “THE LAND FOR.” Constructed from printed paper, likely newsprint for interior pages, these comics exhibit classic mid-20th-century comic art styles with vibrant illustrations and text bubbles.
