Description
A collection of vintage American comic books primarily from Charlton Comics, including multiple issues of ‘Space Adventures,’ some featuring art by Steve Ditko. This group comprises approximately ten to eleven printed paper comic books, predominantly dating from the Silver Age, identifiable by their 10c and 12c pricing and visible month markings (e.g., August, February, March, November, December). Other titles present include ‘Mysterious Suspense,’ ‘Mystery of Unexplored Worlds,’ ‘Unusual Tales,’ and ‘Space War.’ The prevalent themes across the collection are science fiction, space exploration, and mystery, featuring illustrations of astronauts, alien creatures, and futuristic technology. Most issues display the ‘Approved by the Comics Code Authority’ seal. A small white paper slip with the handwritten number ‘485’ is also present.
