Description
A group of approximately twelve to fifteen vintage superhero comic books from the “Archie Adventure Series,” titled “ADVENTURES OF THE FLY” or “THE FLY.” These paper-based comics are consistent with the Silver Age of comics, featuring vibrant, colorful illustrations. Visible publication dates span at least January 1962 to February 1963, with issues priced at 12 cents. Many covers display the “APPROVED BY THE COMICS CODE AUTHORITY” seal and “PDC” marking. Visible issue numbers include #15 and #16. Dialogue in English within speech bubbles provides context, such as “FLY GIRL! THIS IS A PHOTO OF YOU WRECKING THE SAN FALO SHIPYARDS. DO YOU DENY COMMITTING THIS CRIME?”
Condition report:
Fair to good apparent condition, exhibiting typical wear for their age. This includes some creasing, edge wear, and minor discoloration on the covers.
