Description
A group of four Superboy comic books, published by DC Comics during the Silver Age. Comprising issue numbers 129 (June), 138 (June), 132 (December), and 147 (May). Each issue features a 12-cent price tag, indicative of the mid-to-late 1960s. Cover titles include ‘BLACKOUT FOR SUPERBOY!’ (No. 129), ‘SUPERBOY KILLED! D.O.A. IN COLD BLOOD!’ (No. 138), ‘JOR-EL’S VISIT TO EARTH!’ (No. 132), and ‘Featuring The Army of LIVING KRYPTONITE MEN!’ (No. 147). Constructed from paper, they display characteristic superhero artwork and graphic design of their era, with back covers featuring typical period advertisements. A small yellow note with ‘503’ handwritten on it is also present.
Condition report:
Good to Very Good condition, showing signs of moderate age and handling. Each comic exhibits creasing, edge wear, and spine stress. Discoloration and foxing are present on the paper. All issues appear complete.
