Description
A group of three vintage American comic books from the Marvel Comics Group, including Daredevil (1964 1st Series) #17. The Daredevil issue, subtitled ‘None Are So Blind!’, features Daredevil alongside a character resembling Spider-Man and another figure in green and blue on the cover. Also included are two issues from the ‘Tales of Suspense’ series, featuring ‘Iron Man and Captain America’: issue #79, depicting the heroes fighting a large green creature, and issue #80, titled ‘Enter… The Red Skull!’, showing a battle between Iron Man, Captain America, and the Red Skull. All three comics bear a 12¢ cover price, consistent with mid-1960s publication. The back covers uniformly display illustrated advertisements for the ‘Famous Artists School,’ prominently mentioning ‘Norman Rockwell.’ Two of the comics are housed in clear plastic protective sleeves. A white slip of paper marked ‘514’ is also present with the lot.
Condition report:
Overall fair to good vintage condition. All issues exhibit visible signs of age and handling, including creasing, edge wear, and spine stress. Covers show surface wear, minor tears, and some discoloration. Pages are toned but appear complete. Two comics are protected in clear plastic sleeves.
