Description
A pair of vintage American comic books from The Incredible Hulk series by Marvel Comics Group, comprising issues #143 and #144, both published in 1971. Issue #144 features “THE MONSTER AND THE MADMAN!” depicting Hulk battling Doctor Doom. Issue #143 features “IN THE GRIP OF DOCTOR DOOM!” showing Hulk interacting with Doctor Doom. Both covers display a price of “15c”. Constructed from paper, the reverse of each comic features identical advertisements for “Cheerful Card Company” from White Plains, New York, with the headline “DO YOU NEED EXTRA MONEY?” and the phrase “IT COSTS YOU NOTHING TO TRY”.
