A Real Clue Crime Stories magazine, published by Hillman Periodicals, circa 1948. The pulp magazine features a cover illustration depicting men in a “LOANS” setting, with the slogan “COMMIT A CRIME AND THE WORLD IS MADE OF GLASS!” and a disclaimer promoting “LAW AND ORDER.” It is marked “A 52 PAGE MAGAZINE” and bears the number “584” on the left edge. Accompanying the magazine is a vintage “Broadway Fashions” advertising flyer or catalog page. This item showcases women’s clothing with visible prices (e.g., “698,” “798”), an order form, and a return address of “399 Broadway, New York 13, N. Y.” A white sticker with the handwritten number “518” is present beneath both items.
