Description
A pair of vintage Marvel Comics Group “The Amazing Spider-Man” comic books from the Silver Age/early Bronze Age. The lot comprises: Issue #66, dated November 1968, depicting Spider-Man battling Mysterio on the cover with the headline “The Madness of Mysterio!”. This issue is notable for Mysterio’s appearance and a cameo by the Green Goblin. Issue #74, dated July, showing Spider-Man confronting The Shocker and another figure, with the headline “The Fantastic Secret of The Petrified Tablet!”. Both comics are priced at 12¢ and feature classic superhero artwork of the period. The reverse side of issue #66 features an advertisement for “Famous Artists School”, while issue #74 features an advertisement for “Academy for Home Study”, both printed in English.
Condition report:
Both comics are in good, read condition, consistent with their age and use. They exhibit minor cover wear, light corner dings, and spine stress. The pages appear intact and complete.
