Description
A group of five Silver Age DC World’s Finest Comics, published from 1941 onwards. This lot includes issues 117, 120, 121, 123, and 124, dating to the early to mid-1960s. Two comics are priced at 10¢, and three at 12¢. Prominently featuring Superman and Batman, the cover stories include ‘The Menace of the Alien Super-Boy!’ (Issue #120), ‘The Double-Dreadful Lives of the Doomed Heroes!’ (Issue #117), ‘The Day Superman Betrayed Batman!’ (Issue #121), ‘The Composite Superman!’ (Issue #124), and ‘The Caveman Superman!’ (Issue #123). The reverse sides feature period advertisements for muscle-building courses, toy soldiers, and Aurora monster model kits.
Condition report:
Encased in protective sleeves, the paper comics generally present in fair to good apparent condition, exhibiting expected signs of age and handling including creasing, edge wear, and paper toning.
