Description

A pair of vintage American superhero comic books from the ‘Batman’ series, published by DC Comics. The lot includes issue No. 209 from May, featuring a large facial graphic incorporating multiple smaller Batman figures and a character with the visible text “I AM BLIND.” Also included is issue No. 208 from February, depicting Batman and Robin confronting a tiger-headed villain, accompanied by the text “BATMAN! WHO’S MAKING THESE TIGER TRACKS?” Both paper-bound comics prominently display the “DC” logo, a “12c” price, and the “APPROVED BY THE COMICS CODE AUTHORITY” stamp, indicative of a mid-to-late 1960s publication period. This timeframe is further supported by advertisements on the back covers for “Hot Wheels” from Mattel and “Aurora Model Motoring” HO scale racing.

Condition report:

Both comics exhibit visible signs of age and use, including creasing, edge wear, and some discoloration. Covers show surface wear and minor tears along edges. Spines are intact but show wear.
