Description
A pair of vintage American comic books from DC National Comics’ *World’s Finest Comics* series. Both are “80 pg. GIANT!” issues characteristic of the Silver Age period (mid-1960s). The first, issue No. 170, dated November and priced at 25 cents, is titled “Superman and Batman with Robin,” depicting various vignettes including “The Star Creatures!” and “The Boy from Outer Space!”. The second, issue No. 179, also dated November and priced at 25 cents, features “Batman and Superman” with a primary cover blurb, “Here’s the startling origin of the Superman, Batman team-up!”, and indicates the inclusion of a reprint from *Superman* No. 76, originally 10 cents. Both comics are printed on paper and display the “Approved by the Comics Code Authority” seal.
Condition report:
Good condition. Both comics exhibit typical age-related wear including minor bluntness to corners, creasing to edges, and visible page yellowing. Covers retain bright colors. Text is fully legible throughout. Unbagged.
