Description
A pair of vintage DC Comics ‘Superman’ 80-Page Giant comic books, each originally priced at 25¢. The first comic, No. 207, is a ’30th ANNIVERSARY ISSUE!’ celebrating ‘1938-1968’ and features ‘CLASSIC TALES’ with ‘Happy Birthday’ messages. The second comic, No. 209, is titled ‘TALES OF THE BIZARRO WORLD!’ and features various Bizarro characters. Both comics are printed on paper with color illustrations and date to the late 1960s, confirmed by a 1967 copyright on one of the back cover advertisements. The back covers display period advertisements for ‘MOTORIFIC!’ slot cars and ‘SKITTLE-BOWL by AURORA.’
Condition report:
Good, readable condition. Both comics exhibit vibrant colors and minor wear consistent with age and handling, including slight creasing to covers and spine, and some edge wear. No major tears or missing pages observed.
