Description
BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A collection of Boris Vallejo Series 1 base trading cards published by Comic Images in 1991. The cards are constructed of cardstock and are presented within clear plastic Ultra PRO protective sleeves. Each card features a full-color illustration on the obverse depicting various fantasy and science fiction subjects, including heroic figures, mythological creatures such as centaurs and dragons, and surreal landscapes. The reverse of each card displays a black-and-white sketch, a card number, a title, and descriptive text referencing original publication sources such as Tor Books, Ballantine Books, and Workman Publishing. Every card bears the copyright mark 1991 Boris Vallejo.
Condition report:
The collection is in good vintage condition. Minor surface wear is present consistent with age and handling. Several individual cards feature small yellow adhesive price labels on the front surface.
