BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! Sonny Liston vs. Floyd Patterson II World Heavyweight Championship Collection of Four Full Unused Tickets, 1963, Raw

This is a rare and comprehensive collection of four full, unused tickets for the originally scheduled World Heavyweight Championship rematch between champion Sonny Liston and challenger Floyd Patterson. The bout was slated for Thursday, April 4, 1963, at the Convention Hall in Miami Beach, Florida. These are highly sought-after "phantom" tickets, as the event never took place on this date or at this venue; the fight was postponed due to a knee injury sustained by Liston and was eventually relocated to Las Vegas in July 1963. The set includes four distinct tiers of access: a pink Roving Employee pass (No. 109), a salmon-colored Auxiliary Ringside ticket (Section 20, Row Z, Seat 18), a green 50.00 dollar Ringside ticket (Section 29, Row 1, Seat 2), and an off-white 10.00 dollar Arena ticket (Section 42, Row 16, Seat 1). Each ticket features iconic photographic portraits of both legendary heavyweights, the 15-round fight designation, and the branding of promoter Championship Sports, Inc. The reverse of each ticket displays the standard legal Notice and Agreement from the promoter and the Globe Ticket Co. printer mark.

Condition report:

These four tickets are in excellent to near-mint raw condition. The paper stock remains crisp with sharp, square corners and no evidence of tearing or significant creasing. The colors are vibrant and well-preserved, showing no signs of fading or sun damage. The surfaces are clean, though the salmon Auxiliary Ringside ticket features a small, vintage handwritten price notation in ink on the reverse side. The perforations between the admission stubs and the main bodies of the tickets remain completely intact.
