BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! Collection of Eight Pittsburgh Steelers Autographed and Team Photographs including Terry Bradshaw and Jack Ham
This collection consists of eight Pittsburgh Steelers photographs, including six autographed player photos and two team photos. The autographed items include a black-and-white 8×10 multi-image composite photograph of Terry Bradshaw signed in dark ink; a color 8×10 photograph of Rocky Bleier signed in black ink with a #20 inscription; two identical color 8×10 photographs of Jack Ham, both signed in black ink with HOF 1988 inscriptions; a color 8×10 photograph of Mel Blount signed in purple ink; and a color oversized Darren Perry bio-card signed in blue ink. The team photographs include a 1995 color 8×10 team photo featuring a signature in black ink across the center of the front row (identified as Neil O’Donnell), and an unsigned color 8×10 photograph commemorating the franchise’s 75th season (1933–2007) with a printed roster key. No third-party authentication certificates from organizations such as PSA/DNA, JSA, or Beckett are present. Two of the photographs feature handwritten identification or pricing on the reverse.
Provenance / Authentication Note: This item originates from a single-owner collection assembled by a dedicated sports fan (with a strong focus on Notre Dame and New York Yankees memorabilia). The collector actively pursued autographs over many years through in-person events, including games, autograph shows, and visits to National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum during player events, as well as through direct mail requests to athletes and celebrities. The collection included supporting material such as handwritten correspondence sent to athletes (in some cases with payment enclosed), along with photographs of the collector with various signers. A portion of this same collection was featured in our March 21st auction, where multiple items were authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA). In regards to any items with signature(s): While this specific item(s) may not be individually submitted for third-party authentication, it originates from the same collection and shows consistency with previously authenticated pieces. As with many large autograph collections, there may be a small number of facsimile or clubhouse-style signatures present, but for the most part we have seen AUTHENTIC SIGNATURES within the collection. Based on the overall provenance and our review, we maintain a strong level of confidence in the authenticity of most items. Bidders are encouraged to review all photos carefully and bid according to their own level of comfort. No additional authentication documentation is included unless visible within the lot photos. Condition report:
The collection is in very good to excellent condition. The signatures are bold and clear with no significant fading. The photographs show minimal wear to the edges and corners. One Jack Ham photograph and the Mel Blount photograph have handwritten identification in black ink on the reverse side.
