A single left-foot vintage Nike Air Strong High basketball sneaker, originally released circa 1994. The shoe features a high-top silhouette constructed with a white leather upper, black synthetic overlays, and a forward-facing black Nike swoosh on the lateral side. The lateral heel area displays two autographs in black permanent marker. The top signature is attributed to Scot Pollard and includes the player’s jersey number 31. The bottom signature is attributed to Paul Pierce and includes the player’s jersey number 34. Both athletes were teammates on the Kansas Jayhawks during the late-1990s. The heel tab features the word AIR printed in black. The design includes a multi-paneled upper with perforated sections and a characteristic jagged midsole profile. Condition report:
Poor condition. The polyurethane midsole has undergone extreme hydrolysis, causing the material to disintegrate and crumble into a yellow-tan powder. The black rubber outsole has completely separated from the upper due to midsole failure. The white leather upper exhibits significant creasing, surface scuffs, and general wear consistent with age. There is visible yellowing to the rubber components and residual adhesive throughout. The item is structurally compromised and is suitable for display only; it is not wearable.
