This lot features seven autographed items celebrating the history of the New York Giants football franchise. The collection includes six 8×10 photographs and one specialty trading card.
1. Harry Carson signed 8×10 color action photograph. The signature is in blue felt-tip marker and inscribed To Aimee / Harry Carson / N.Y. Giants. The photo includes an officially licensed NFL hologram C00524237 and a Photo File manufacturer mark.
2. Sam Huff signed 1998 Pro Football Hall of Fame Signature Series card. The signature is in black ink and inscribed Sam Huff / HOF 1982. The front features a gold foil signature series seal, and the reverse provides career highlights and a quote.
3. Y.A. Tittle signed 8×10 color action photograph. Signed in blue felt-tip marker with the signature Y.A. Tittle.
4. Charles Way signed 8×10 black and white promotional photograph. Signed in black felt-tip marker and inscribed Thank you for your support / God Bless / Charles Way #30. The layout includes a player headshot and team helmet logo.
5. Bob Tucker signed 8×10 black and white action photograph. Signed in blue felt-tip marker with the signature Bob Tucker. This item is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Thrill of Victory, Boca Raton, Florida.
6. Gary Brown signed 8×10 color action photograph. Signed in black felt-tip marker and inscribed Gary Brown 33.
7. Luke Petitgout signed 8×10 color promotional photograph. Signed in black felt-tip marker and inscribed To Aimee! / Best Wishes / Luke Petitgout. Features a player headshot.
The collection is accompanied by various handwritten identifying paper slips as shown in the documentation.
Provenance / Authentication Note: This item originates from a single-owner collection assembled by a dedicated sports fan (with a strong focus on Notre Dame and New York Yankees memorabilia). The collector actively pursued autographs over many years through in-person events, including games, autograph shows, and visits to National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum during player events, as well as through direct mail requests to athletes and celebrities. The collection included supporting material such as handwritten correspondence sent to athletes (in some cases with payment enclosed), along with photographs of the collector with various signers. A portion of this same collection was featured in our March 21st auction, where multiple items were authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA). In regards to any items with signature(s): While this specific item(s) may not be individually submitted for third-party authentication, it originates from the same collection and shows consistency with previously authenticated pieces. As with many large autograph collections, there may be a small number of facsimile or clubhouse-style signatures present, but for the most part we have seen AUTHENTIC SIGNATURES within the collection. Based on the overall provenance and our review, we maintain a strong level of confidence in the authenticity of most items. Bidders are encouraged to review all photos carefully and bid according to their own level of comfort. No additional authentication documentation is included unless visible within the lot photos. Condition report:
The collection is in good to very good condition. Two photographs are personalized to Aimee. All signatures are clear and legible. Minor age-related toning is present on the paper slips and card reverse. The photos show minimal signs of wear from handling.
