BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A Pair of New York Yankees Autographed Baseballs Ralph Houk and Clete Boyer JSA Authenticated
This lot features a pair of autographed baseballs from two notable figures in New York Yankees history, Ralph Houk and Clete Boyer. Both items are Rawlings Official American League baseballs featuring the printed signature of league president Gene A. Budig, dating the manufacture of the balls to between 1994 and 1999.
The first baseball is signed by Ralph Houk in blue ink on the sweet spot. Houk, a former player and longtime manager who led the Yankees to World Series titles in 1961 and 1962, has included the inscription 1961 World Champ below his signature. This ball features a James Spence Authentication (JSA) tamper-evident hologram sticker with serial number CF97625 and includes the corresponding JSA Basic Certification card.
The second baseball is signed by Clete Boyer in blue ink on a side panel. Boyer, the standout third baseman for the Yankees during the 1960s, has inscribed his jersey number #6 next to his signature. This ball features a JSA tamper-evident hologram sticker with serial number CF97619 and includes the corresponding JSA Basic Certification card.
Both baseballs are constructed of white leather with red stitching and bear the standard Rawlings and American League markings, including the Cushioned Cork Center designation.
Condition report:
Both baseballs are in good condition. The signatures and inscriptions are clear, bold, and legible with no significant fading. The leather on both balls shows minor, natural toning and very light surface wear consistent with age and handling. The JSA certification stickers remain firmly attached to the leather.
