BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! Two JSA Authenticated Signed Baseball Art Prints Featuring Charlie Gehringer and Johnny Vander Meer

This lot features two hand-signed baseball memorabilia items, each accompanied by a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Basic Certification. The first item is a green-toned lithographic art print of Detroit Tigers Hall of Fame second baseman Charlie Gehringer. The print depicts Gehringer in a batting stance and is signed Chas. Gehringer in blue ink across the upper portion of the image. It features two cancelled United States postage stamps: a 3-cent Centennial of Baseball (1839-1939) stamp and a 6-cent Professional Baseball (1869-1969) First Day of Issue stamp. Both stamps bear a Cincinnati, Ohio, postmark dated September 24, 1969. The print includes JSA certification sticker CH61010. The second item is a promotional print and order form from Perez-Steele Galleries titled First Night Game at Ebbets Field. It features a full-color illustration by artist Dick Perez commemorating Johnny Vander Meer’s historic second consecutive no-hitter on June 15, 1938. The print is signed Johnny Vander Meer in dark ink across the center. The lower half of the sheet contains a promotional order form for limited edition prints. This item includes JSA certification sticker CH61019. Both items are paired with their respective JSA Basic Certification cards.

Condition report:

The Charlie Gehringer print is in overall good condition with minor wear to the edges and corners. The Johnny Vander Meer promotional print exhibits two horizontal fold lines and light surface creasing consistent with its original distribution as a promotional mailer. Both signatures are bold, clear, and well-preserved.
