Description
BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! An Assortment of Baseball Memorabilia Including a Roberto Clemente Commemorative Cereal Box and Jesse Levan Facsimile Autographed Items
This lot contains a varied collection of baseball commemorative items and facsimile autographed memorabilia. The featured piece is a Roberto Clemente Slugger Cereal commemorative edition box, produced to honor his 3000th hit and final career at-bat on September 30, 1972. The Frosted Flakes cereal box displays photographic imagery of Clemente and printed facsimile signatures. A side panel provides information regarding the Roberto Clemente Foundation. The box is professionally housed in a thick, clear acrylic display case.
The lot also features a collection of items facsimile autographed by Jesse Levan (1926-1998), an outfielder who played for the Philadelphia Phillies and Washington Senators. This includes a stack of 8×10 inch black and white photographs of Levan in a batting stance wearing a Chattanooga Lookouts uniform, with each bearing a signature in ink. Also included is an assortment of baseballs individually autographed in ink by Jesse Levan, each contained within an Ultra Pro Square Ball Display case featuring UV protection.
Additionally, the lot includes two plastic MLB souvenir mini batting helmets in original plastic packaging. One is a red Washington Nationals helmet with the white curly W logo, and the other is a black Baltimore Orioles helmet with the orange and black cartoon bird logo.
Condition report:
The items are in overall good collectible condition. The commemorative cereal box is well-preserved inside its acrylic housing. The mini batting helmets remain in their original factory bags. The signed photographs and baseballs show typical signs of age-related toning and shelf wear to the display boxes. The autographs on the photos and baseballs have not been authenticated by a third-party service.
